INN POLICIES
GUEST ROOM RATES
All guest room rates are subject to 9% Maine lodging tax. Rates are based on double occupancy. The maximum occupancy per room is 2 adults. If you are traveling with children, please refer to the section on children.
RESERVATIONS
All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card to reserve a room. The Chandler River Inn accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. All reservations should be made in advance. We do not accept online reservations within 24 hours of arrival. We will accept walk-ins if there is a vacancy or a cancellation. Please call for availability for same day reservations.
DEPOSIT
A Deposit of 50% of the room rate is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance plus applicable taxes is due at check-in. Please see our cancellation policy for refunds of deposits.
PAYMENT
A deposit is paid at the time of booking (see deposit section). The balance of the reservation is due at Check–In with a credit or debit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express).
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
All guests must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a room. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult of 21 years of age or older who's name appears on the reservation.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check in is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM EDT. We will be happy to make arrangements for late check-in. Please let us know when booking whether you will require late check-in by telling us approximately what time you will be arriving. All guests must present valid photo ID upon check-in and a valid credit card.
Check-out is 10:00 AM
Due to staffing issues, we generally don't allow early check-in or late check-out.
PETS
Pets are not allowed
CHILDREN
Well behaved children of all ages are welcome. One child under 18 may accompany up to two adults in Captain Watts and Judah Chandler for and additional guest fee. A roll-away bed or portable crib can be provided. Please let us know when making your reservation what type of bed for your child. High chairs are available in the dining room. Families with more then one child will need to book additional rooms based on occupancy with at least one adult in each room.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served daily in the guest dining room from 8:00-9:00 AM. When making your reservation please let us know of any dietary requirements you might have. We will try our best to accommodate them.
SMOKING
100% SMOKE-FREE
For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture we do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, hookahs, incense, cooking, cigars, candle burning, the use or diffusing of patchouli oil or other strong-smelling plant-based essential oils or synthetic products in our facility or anywhere on the premises. Guests are encouraged to notify staff immediately if they smell cigarette, marijuana, or other objectionable odors. Any guests violating this policy will be evicted immediately with no refund given.
ALCOHOL
No one under the age of 21 may consume alcohol on our premises. Wine Glasses and corkscrews are available if you choose to enjoy a bottle of wine that you have purchased from outside our establishment. We ask that our guests drink responsibly and take into consideration our other guests. We promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all our guests. To ensure the well-being and comfort of everyone on our premises, we require that all patrons refrain from excessive drinking. We believe in responsible and moderate alcohol consumption to enhance your experience and maintain a pleasant atmosphere for all. Any violation of our alcohol policy may result in eviction from the property without refund or the involvement of law enforcement if necessary.
DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR
We are committed to the safety and comfort of our guests, as well as our neighbors.. Therefore, excessive noise, or disruptive, unsafe, lewd, crude or illegal behavior in the guest rooms, common space or anywhere on the property are prohibited and may result in eviction without refund or the involvement of law enforcement if necessary.
CANCELLATIONS
A deposit of 50% of the room rate is processed at the time of the reservation and the remaining balance is due at check-in. With only five rooms, last minute cancellations can significantly affect our business. Therefore, the Chandler River Inn will require a 14 day notice for all cancellations. Deposits will not be refunded if you must cancel within 14 days of the check-in date.
If a reservation is made within 14 days of arrival, a 48 hour notice is required for cancellations. Deposits will not be refunded if you must cancel within 48 hours (4:00 pm the day of check-in).
No refunds of any amount will be given for late check-in or early departure.
No-Shows will be charged the amount of entire reservation plus applicable taxes.
A Damage Policy is required to be signed at check-in.
