LUXURY ACCOMMODATIONS

IN THE HEART

OF DOWNEAST MAINE

The Hate Evil Hall Homestead
Circa 1797

In 1797, a man named Hate Evil Hall built a center chimney cape at the top a hill over looking the Chandler River in Jonesboro, ME. Over the decades, an addition and a second story was added, the center chimney system removed and replaced with a center hall and staircase.  Today, the homestead reflects many different periods of architecture which add to the charm and character. The surrounding 20 acres of land speaks of a once bustling farm consisting of old apple trees, sprawling raspberries and acres of open fields. Come stay with us; relax, explore, celebrate...
